This FW21/22, Petit Bateau celebrates the love of simple things.
The famous French brand signs a new collection inspired by Charlotte Perriand, the French artist who combines architecture, design, painting, and sculpture, driven by a fascination for comfort, authenticity, and the environment. She is the perfect embodiment of the values defended by Petit Bateau for over 100 years: QUALITY, INNOVATION, and CONNECTION WITH NATURE.
Inspired by the artist's workshop, we find "workwear" looks like jumpsuits, cargo pants, and denim overalls perfect for babies to teens. The colors are inspired by a palette of ochre, natural and blue tones.
New prints take on Japanese and animal inspirations and, as always, nature is in the spotlight! Among the key winter pieces, we find quilted jersey jackets, little fleece dresses, and a fresh version of the jacquard sweater, the parka, and printed dress. The iconic stripes take pride of place alongside abstract and fun prints such as hearts, teddy bear insets on a sweater, and star-patterned bodies for babies. Sportswear inspiration plays a bigger role, revealing a stylish and comfortable collection for babies and kids in fresh and striking colors.
Of course, the baby's wardrobe is also covered with a multitude of overalls and jumpsuits in cream, beige and blue to stay warm all winter long. For adults, there are the essential raincoats, coats, and knitwear, made from sustainable materials, to be reinvented endlessly.
This new collection reaffirms Petit Bateau's commitment to the environment and more sustainable fashion, taking pride in designing high-quality clothes that can be passed down from generation to generation.
